VACATION IN THE HARZ NATIONAL PARK.
SCHIERKE INVITES YOU TO DISCOVER AND RELAX.
With its idyllic location in the national park, direct proximity to the Brocken and numerous leisure activities, Schierke offers an ideal environment for relaxation and activity. The forests and cliffs of the Harz invite you to relax and explore.
The wide range of leisure activities include cross-country skiing, downhill skiing (in nearby Braunlage), mountain biking, Nordic walking, hiking, climbing, bobsleigh rides, horse riding and carriage and horse-drawn sleigh rides. The Schierker Feuerstein Arena, a multifunctional arena, offers exciting activities in both summer and winter.
Restaurants, cafés, the spa administration, a savings bank and a supermarket are just a few minutes' walk away. Hiking trails and cross-country ski trails also start directly at the house, so that a car is often not needed. The Brockenbahn train station is around 20 minutes away on foot.
For larger purchases, there are extensive shopping facilities in the nearby towns of Wernigerode and Braunlage, which can be reached in a few minutes by car.
