															YOUR INHERITANCE IN OUR HANDS.
THANK YOU WILLY.
Over 100 years ago, pharmacist Willy Drube in the small town of Schierke had a feel for the ideal combination of tasty herbs and roots. Many of the guests who were on vacation in what was then known as the "St. Moritz of the North" and who visited Willy Drube in his pharmacy "Zum Roten Fingerhut" were looking for a drink that they could enjoy after a good meal. He was convinced that he could create an exceptional recipe.
His knowledge of a wide variety of herbs, their effects, their smell and taste, led the pharmacist to what was probably his greatest experiment. Day after day, night after night, he experimented and tried to put his ideas into practice. He was tireless in his search for the perfect recipe until he finally succeeded in 1908: The Schierker Feuerstein was born.
For the enjoyment of life, for social gatherings and extraordinary moments.
unique, special and inimitable.
WILLY'S SECRET OF FINE HERBS.
The special thing about Schierker Feuerstein is its recipe. It makes the herbal half-bitter a real traditional drink. We still produce it today according to Willy Drube's original recipe. We macerate selected local and overseas herbs and roots with pure brandy. The composition of the herbs is top secret and is only passed on within the family - now in its 5th generation. In this way, the spirit of Willy Drube lives on in every bottle of Schierker Feuerstein. Production is still close to Willy Drube's roots: the herbs are still prepared at the headquarters in Schierke. Bottling takes place in the modern production facility in Bad Lauterberg.

															SCHIERK LANDMARK.
THE ROCK ON THE BOTTLE.
The reddish color of the granite gave the flint cliffs in Schierke their name. This 300-million-year-old rock formation, in turn, was the inspiration for the name of our herbal half-bitter, which begins to sparkle in the light in its typical dark red color.
Although the design of our bottles has changed somewhat over time, the most important element has always remained the same: The flintstone cliff can be found on the labels then as now.
Even today, the cliffs are an unmissable landmark of the Schierker Feuerstein and a popular excursion destination in the Harz Mountains.

Schierker Feuerstein over the years.
Since its foundation in 1908, the appearance of the Schierker Feuerstein bottle and labels has constantly evolved. From the classic design of the early years to modern interpretations, the company's tradition and innovative strength is reflected in the packaging.
A simple sentence with great significance.
What unites us.
Our company is more than just a producer of spirits - it is a symbol of cohesion, reunification and shared moments of enjoyment.
Our history is characterized by a past of division and the joy of reunification. It has allowed us to reunite not only our locations, but also our values and our passion. Today, our products stand for a feeling of unity - for people who toast together, meet and share special moments.
"WHAT UNITED US" is therefore more than just a claim - it is our promise. A promise to create moments of pleasure with our products. A promise to uphold the values of quality, origin and community. And a promise to bring people together - today and in the future.
Let's raise our glasses together - to what unites us!
