These Terms and Conditions govern the terms of participation in the Schierker Feuerstein Contest „Win Your Very Own Schierk Original“, hereinafter referred to as the „Upcycling Contest.“.

The organizer of the sweepstakes is SCHIERKER FEUERSTEIN GmbH & Co. KG, Schierker-Feuerstein-Platz 1–5, 37431 Bad Lauterberg, hereinafter referred to as Schierker Feuerstein.

By entering the upcycling contest, you agree to these terms and conditions.

All natural persons who are at least 18 years of age and reside in Germany are eligible to participate.

Participation with fake identities or identities of third parties is not permitted.

Each person may only take part in the competition once. Multiple entries are not permitted.

Excluded are employees of Schierker Feuerstein and its affiliated companies, employees of my.worX gGmbH involved in the production of the prizes, and the family members of these employees.

Participation via automated mass participation procedures of third parties is not permitted.

Schierker Feuerstein reserves the right to exclude participants from the contest in the event of a violation of the terms and conditions of participation or if there is suspicion of the use of unauthorized aids or manipulation. Persons who provide false or incomplete personal information will also be excluded. The same applies to individuals who violate laws or the rights of third parties in connection with their participation. Schierker Feuerstein may also impose such an exclusion retroactively, revoke prizes, and demand their return.

The upcycling contest begins on October 1, 2026, and ends on June 30, 2027, at 11:59 p.m.

Schierker Feuerstein is giving away a total of 555 one-of-a-kind items made from former Schierker Feuerstein advertising banners:

• 10 backpacks
• 100 Essentials Bags
• 444 cases

These items are produced in collaboration with my.worX gGmbH. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and made from used banner material. The color, design details, and signs of wear on the material vary from piece to piece and may differ from the images shown. The images are for illustrative purposes only.

Prizes are not transferable to third parties, cannot be exchanged, and cannot be paid out in cash.

Participants can access the promotion page via the QR code on the bottle tag or at www.schierker-feuerstein.de/gewinnspiel. On the contest entry form, participants enter their personal information (first and last name, street, house number, ZIP code, city, and email address), confirm that they are at least 18 years old, and accept these terms and conditions.

Subscribing to the newsletter is optional and not a requirement for participation.

Participation is free of charge and is not contingent upon the purchase of a product. Participants are only responsible for the cost of their Internet connection. Schierker Feuerstein is not liable for the availability of the website or for transmission errors.

Entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2027.

The drawing will take place after the promotion ends.

All 555 prizes will be randomly selected from among all valid entries. Which one-of-a-kind item each winner receives will also be determined at random. There is no entitlement to a specific one-of-a-kind item.

Winners will be notified by email at the address provided upon entry. If the prize notification cannot be delivered, Schierker Feuerstein is not obligated to conduct further investigations. If the notification cannot be delivered, the claim to the prize expires.

Prizes will be mailed to the address provided within Germany. Risk of loss passes to the winner upon handover of the prize to a delivery person. Schierker Feuerstein cannot be held responsible for damage occurring during delivery. If delivery cannot be made due to an incorrect or incomplete name or address, Schierker Feuerstein is not obligated to conduct further investigations. In the event that delivery is not possible, the claim to the prize expires.

The prizes are one-of-a-kind items made from repurposed advertising banner material. Variations in color, design, dimensions, and surface, as well as signs of wear on the original material, are part of the product and do not constitute a defect. Exchanges are not permitted. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

Schierker Feuerstein is released from all obligations upon shipment of the prizes, unless these provisions already specify an earlier date. Schierker Feuerstein is liable only for damages caused by Schierker Feuerstein or one of its agents through willful misconduct, gross negligence, or the negligent breach of duties that are essential to achieving the purpose of the contract. The foregoing limitations of liability apply in particular to damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission; malfunctions of technical equipment or services; incorrect content; loss or deletion of data; or viruses. These limitations do not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, limb, and/or health, or to liability under the Product Liability Act.

Schierker Feuerstein reserves the right to terminate the contest early, in whole or in part, at any time—even without prior notice—or to modify its course if, for technical reasons (e.g., computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons, it is not possible to guarantee the proper conduct of the contest, or if other reasons would disrupt or prevent the contest from proceeding as scheduled.

The personal data collected via the contest entry form will be used exclusively for the purpose of conducting the contest (drawing, prize notification, and shipping of prizes) and will be deleted upon completion of prize distribution, no later than September 30, 2027. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

We only share the data with service providers who assist us in conducting the sweepstakes, such as shipping companies and IT service providers.

Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and is separate from participation in the contest. The legal basis is consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The subscription becomes effective only after you confirm the link sent via email (double opt-in). Consent may be withdrawn at any time. The newsletter is sent via Brevo. Details can be found in the Privacy Policy.

We would like to draw your attention to the rights set forth in Art. 15 et seq. of the GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint under Art. 77 of the GDPR. Participants may request information at any time regarding the personal data stored about them. With regard to other data processing activities (including recipients and transfers to third countries), the following applies: Privacy policy at www.schierker-feuerstein.de.

By participating in this competition, the participant accepts these conditions of participation.

Should the conditions of participation contain ineffective provisions, the effectiveness of the remaining conditions shall remain unaffected and the ineffective conditions shall be replaced by a condition that comes as close as possible to the original purpose of the ineffective condition. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.

German law applies. Legal recourse to review the draw is excluded. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively, to the exclusion of the provisions of international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, insofar as this does not conflict with mandatory statutory provisions.
